These units are an excellent price and great spec. even come with a fixed safety bond, rated up to 500 watts. Bought and fitted as part of a local theatre upgrade. I have been specifying these and the long cans for some time now and fit them with 500watt lamps, a much better setup for small halls/theatre as a par 64 used at half brightmess gets a bit orange, these full out at 500watts are the answer. Not all par 56 cans are rated at 500 watts, these are. I have re-discovered par 56 can by using this combination. Try it!

The full package!

Do not try to buy one of these from anyone else! Thomann do them better and cheaper than anyone else. The product itself was bought as the full package with the filters, floor plate, and lamp. The construction is remarkable, rugged but professional with an excellent finish. The colour filters are very easy to change over and the projection is good over any size stage. The unit does give off a fair bit of heat, but that is to be expected from 300 watts of lamp! We intend to buy more going forward and a gantry to fly them from eventually. However as a starting point these are the best cheap option to increase your stage impact if you are working on a budget.
One small point whilst you buy this as a package you will need to get 4 small bolts to attach the rubber feet to the floor plate and a larger one to secure the unit to the floor plate. These do not come with the unit, but Roadie to the rescue and 10 minutes later it was all sorted. Thanks Thomann another great buy.

Good quality and very bright lights. I had a problem when they turned up in that one of the bulbs was broken. When I reported it to Thomann they gave me four new bulbs - excellent customer service.

The Lights themselves are excellent quality, Aluminium, durable hardwearing and easy to mount/dismount. However, LED lights are much more the vogue these days

This has to be the biggest bargin in the lighting section. It's a 56 parcan with a chain and lamp for £20 if brought in batches of 4. Simply fantastic!
