Prima, maar ...
I’ve decided to redo the review in English to reach a broader audience – and because many existing reviews are outdated based on the older model with a charging tray. In the meantime, Soundbrenner has made many updates to the software – you can turn the sound and/or the light on or off – you can change the strength and format of the trill – overall, the company listens to the users and addresses shortcoming. But there are drawbacks as well:
1) the phone application does not work on older Android versions (check in Google Play before you order – or you have to get a new phone too)
2) the charging tray has been replaced by a charging cable that magnetically attached to the Soundbrenner Pulse unit. Unfortunately the cable is a bit stiff and detaches easily. Both not big issues as long as you are aware of them. I wear my Soundbrenner Pulse (on my right ankle) using a self-made construct from a 45mm O-ring and a rubber band because I find that more comfortable than the supplied plastic “wrist watch style” band.
From a guitar practice point of view, the Soundbrenner Pulse works fine for me – but maybe not for everyone. I get more distracted by the sound (or the light) of a Metronome and the trill is perfect for me. Another thing to mention us customer support – when I “complained” about the stiff charger cable, I got an immediate reaction from Soundbrenner asking what the problem – looks like they are rally caring what their customers want. I was looking for something like this for some time and I like what I got.

Geweldige metronome
Werkt fantastisch, niet vergeten de app direct te updaten. Ook het maken van een afspeel lijst is heel erg handig als je regelmatig dezelfde oefeningen wil doen zonder telkens opnieuw het tempo in de moeten stellen.
Vaak als ik studeer op mijn trompet is het lastig de auditieve metronoom goed te kunnen horen dat probleem is nu opgelost. Ik ben er bijzonder blij mee en raad het iedereen aan met dit handige apparaat te studeren omdat voelen nu eenmaal sneller gaat dan luisteren.
Jammer dat er maximaal 5 op een app kunnen worden aangesloten.. 50 zou heel erg handig zijn bij het dirigeren van een amateur orkest ;-)
