Prophet is amazing
It is true, the Prophet is amazing. I did have some doubts because there are so many myths and hype surrounding vintage analog synths. But it sounds so good, and it’s remarkably easy to get fantastic sounds, especially with some good effects. It can capture the essence of pop classics, yet also create incredibly original tones. And there is so much potential with just nuanced tweaking; the possibilities within the seemingly simple options can go a long way. I tend to get lost in the mod matrices anyway :-)
I've been thoroughly enjoying myself these last couple of days with this thing—I almost forgot what I paid for it. But it’s definitely worth it.
Just one major complaint, the velocity response curve options are a bit to limited and could be improved. I hope they will. And a minor complaint, the manual is a bit on the flimsy side, you need access to a good forum for deeper knowledge.
