Quality pedalboard, amazing bag, small caveats

I bought this pedalboard to replace an old one where the locks had broken. The old one was the perfect size and had a lot of memories attached to it - I managed to fix it when this Mono one arrived, so I sent the Mono back.

However, I could tell immediately that is one of the most well made pedalboards out there. Light and strong, the higher angle means more pedals (like always on pedals etc) can be attached to the back.

The bag is a Mono bag, super classy and well made. Great zips.

The one downside is that bigger pedals on the top section will make it pretty tight when closing the bag. I didn't like that, I think in real life throwing that bag around might transfer some pressure onto the top row of pedals.

Also, when I ordered it, I was under the impression it came with Dual Lock instead of velcro. However when it arrived there was velcro.

For those two reasons I deducted a point, but those could be totally non-issues for you. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a fan of Mono products for a long time, so when the time came to upgrade my pedalboard, I decided to go for it, especially as Mono have started including their Club Bag with the board. The board itself is intelligently thought out, with a very nice finish, and the bag is of the usual high quality level of Mono products, well designed and constructed. Mono also included plenty of 3M Dual Lock tape to fasten the pedals to the board, which is infinitely superior to standard Velcro. I’ve knocked off one star because the bag is a little on the snug side for the board, but it’s still the best board I’ve ever had. Recommended.

Both the case and the board are rock solid. I've been gigging them for a few years now, filled the pockets with cables, microphones and covered the board in velcro and cable ties. Not a scratch on the bag or the board after all this time.
Changing velcro and pedals has left no trace in the finish either.
Clearly this some of the most robust road gear available.
And it is very well balanced and laid out to give good storage space while also being ergonomic to carry on the strap or handle and lay down at the gig.
