Excellent endpin stopper
Dorine 02.06.2017
Excellent cello endpin anchor, light, easy to transport, professional look and feel. Pad is heavy duty plastic, with non-slip. Brand is Xeros (not Gewa - marketed/ imported by Gewa?). This one is just long enough (80 cm max) for me and my double bass, because I use a fairly low chair. If you need a longer strap, go for the Xeros bass endpin anchor (125 cm max).

Nice and reliable
Anoniem 27.03.2017
I always preferred cello anchors that are just a round rubber or plastic circle, not attached to the chair. However, there are times when you have to be absolutely 100% sure that the spike is not going to move unexpectedly together with such an anchor. Most cellist in my amateur orchestra have exactly this model and are very happy with it. So am I: it can accommodate chairs even with "fat" legs, it has a rubber bottom, so it doesn't slip on the floor, and it will work for both "pointy" and "stubby" endpins (so there is no need to take off the rubber end, if your cello has one). The only potential issue is the length of the strap, for some people it might be a bit short. Personally, I have to use it almost at the full length.

Mine is Xeros actually
CelloCoach 10.11.2019
which is American Made and literally the best in the world, full stop. I've used floor anchors for over 30 years and Xeros invented this design, which has been copied by this generic chinese outfit Gewa. Not mine, surprisingly, for it is a Xeros!! Yes, it really matters. I have Gewa anchors already and they are all ok but wear out too quickly. All my Xeros anchors have lasted over 15 years, with one I use now lasting over 20 years. Generic copy-cat chinese products that don't do that. Take it from me: go Xeros or go have your endpin slide about while playing.

What you see is what you get
Floor 15.11.2019
I prefer not using a floor strap at all, but needed one for orchestra practice and concerts. This one works very well with any chair, its length is easily adjustable, and the rubber backing ensures that your cello pin does not move. Practical and functional.
