DiMarzio DP103 BK 36th Ann. LOW OUTPUT GOODNESS :)
Great pickup for neck or bridge!
I use it in the bridge of a Gibson SG and I really love the low output! It has great clarity and is very easy to install!
The insulation of the cable is a bit harder than most cables, it comes of clean and is almost a bit less rubbery.
The output is around 7.3kOhm and that's a really good output I find for most rock and other stuff. And if you want more gain you can always get it with pedals and amps these days...
I was using Lollar Imperial High Wind pickups and I actually like this one much better because of the slightly less output on this one!
If you have a humbucker guitar and you think that it has less clarity than your single coil guitars, you'll be very happy using this pickup as a humbucker with greater clarity!
I would recommend this pickup any day to any (Classic) Rock/Blues player! It's a solid pickup for an affordable price! And Thomann has great service as always!
Cheers guys!
