Indispensable for my studio

Having a dB meter in the studio is a real necessity. After many hours of listening to music, it is easy to start cranking up the volume. You can have the best monitors but listening fatigue will kick in inevitably. If you don't have a reliable dB meter like the Digital Sound 8922 there is no accurate way to control the volume over time. I find it easy to use, there are many operational modes and features available, although for me I mainly need it to control and monitor the volume coming out of my monitors during long mixing sessions. De Digital Sound 8922 is one of those items that are always around in my studio. It's a reliable and indispensable tool.

Super DB meter!

Perfecte DB meter, de achtergrond verlichting is ook heel fijn op locatie. Batterij gebruik is ook heel zuinig. Ben nu 3 jaar in het bezit van deze DB meter, en heb nog maar 1 keer de batterij vervangen.

Max/hold functie is ook heel fijn.

Kortom, hele fijne meter!

Een stuk groter dan ik had verwacht, komt in een net koffertje. Werkt uitstekend, afleesbaarheid van het display is ook dik in orde. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

The meter is really huge physically, especially with the case, I didn't expect the size so be careful if you are looking for something elegant to carry in your jacket pocket.
Otherwise, it seems reliable and precise, it's my first SPL and I love all the different functions it has such as calculating the noise level of specific sounds where the meter will subtract the general "room" noise and make the calculations automatically for you. This can be really helpful in certain situations.
I have mainly bought it to be able to calibrate speakers and have consistency and a solid reference when working in different studios.
Before I was using an application on my iPhone and obviously, this meter is a better option.
