The Clarke Original Tin Whistle and the Victorian Tin Whistle are exact the same. Build, sound and materials (even to the compound of paint used for exterior). Clarke Tinwhistles have a unique "airy" sound, compared to the plastic mouthpiece tin whistle, but they also need more air to produce tones.
The "Original" Clarke Tinwhistle is painted black and het golden ornaments painted on it.
After about 2 weeks of intensive play those ornament are rubbed away and you are left with a black Tin Whistle.
Not a big problem, but still..
When i received the Victorian Tin whistle, i was a bit dissappointed that its exterior was painted grey metallic instead of being just metallic. It gave a very cheap impression.
In short this is the Original Tinwhistle painted metallic grey. Where i have to be honest that the Original overall looks better even after its gold has dissappeared.
