An amazing little amp

I bought this tiny amp set based on the reviews but I'm simply blown away by the quality of this little amp.

Comparing it to similar sized amps this thing sounds amazing, in fact it even sounds better than my regular sized practice amp!

It comes with a volume,OD channel switch, gain, ISF tone knob, a delay level and time knob.

On lower volumes (the amp gets pretty loud in stereo 6 watt) I'd recommend using the gain knob to set the volume as it feels more responsive (almost like a tube amp)

The ISF is a great feature Blackstar included as it keeps the amp fresh should you get tired of your dialed in tone.
It switches you from great British distortions to spanky American cleans (or dirt) and a great in between blend of both.

The delay is another fun feature to play around with and sounds especially great in the stereo mode.

I use this amp mainly for home practice and the built in mp3/line in is a very fine addition for practicing with a track (I actually use it connected to my computer as the speakers give you an amazing sound reproduction)

I'd definitely recommend this set as it includes a free adapter and the second cab really completes the sound.

small.. and perfect

I wanted a small,easy to use practice amp.
It got great tone, good volume, easy setup and adjust. And it weighs almost nothing(1 kilo)so put it in your backpack and go.
Features are good, alas no reverb, but a good delay and everything you need to practice.(backtrack/headphone/lineout)

For me, perfect.
recommend it very much. It is good for beginner and pro..in your hotelroom!!

The best mini amp out there

I needed a small amp to put on my desk, but all the mini amps I knew of had a very bad sound. This one is different. The sound it produces with such a small speaker is stunning and impressively loud. I highly recommend that you get this bundle with the second speaker. It brings the sound quality to another lever.
It has two channels and both sound very nice. The clean channel is balanced an full and the distortion channel can produce very nice rock and lead tones.
This amp has a one knob tone control called ISF that controls the mid scoop (make is sound more British or American) instead of the usual TONE knob that cuts treble or bass one at the time. This is in my opinion more useful and you can have great and distinct tones all through the knob range.
It doesn?t have an effects loop so you may not get the best results when using modulation or time based effects but, it has a built in delay with two parameters (Time and Level) which is great and a big improvement over one parameter delays that you can find in some much expensive and powerful amps.
You can use it to listen to music by connecting a MP3 player to the Line In jack or use it to play along with your favorite band. You can also record or connect it to a mixing table to gig on bigger venues.
Can be powered with the included power adapter or with batteries, however they don?t last many hours, as expected.
The box is plastic, but it doesn?t feel too cheap. The aux speaker output is not standard so, you can only connect a speaker other than the bundled one if you know some basic electronics and build a custom cable yourself.
Bottom line, this is the best mini amp that I know of.
