Very high quality piece that improved sustain. Expensive though.
High quality tailpiece replacement. I bought this to replace the tailpiece on a 2006 Gibson SG because on the posts wouldn?t screw fully into the hole anymore. Its design is slightly different from the Gibson tailpiece. The Gibson is more symmetrical, while the ABM tailpiece is slightly slanted. It?s higher in the back, which allows the strings to go the bridge at a better angle.
The posts of this tailpiece screwed right into the original metal cylinders of the guitar, which I didn?t take out. The sustain and dynamics of the guitar are noticeably better after installing this tailpiece.
This is a part with high construction quality and high sound quality, but I will take off one star because of the high price.
