I've been using these for years on guitar, bass and uke - they're the best clip-on tuner in my experience.
My only complaint is that when playing acoustically, when the tuner is fully folded back it can buzz on the uke or guitar if the hinge bolt is loose. In this case I have to unfold it a little which stops the buzzing. The hinge bolt needs to be tightened with a Torx T10 bit or flathead bit in order to fully prevent the buzzing.
It's very clear in sunlight. It's super accurate in strobe mode - far more accurate than cheaper tuners. And it only takes two clicks to switch it to needle mode when other people are borrowing it, so they don't get completely flummoxed and bewildered by the inscrutable dancing lights of strobe mode. I prefer this one to the PolyTune, I find PolyTune a gimmick which distracts. This also looks super sleek.
I haven't tried the StroboClip yet, it may be similarly good, but my beloved UniTune is bombproof and discreet - I'm not sure if the StroboClip competes there.
