A legismertebb gitárhúr, nem véletlenül!
Vectra79 28.04.2025

A huge change in sound
Aigor85 25.08.2024
Not necessarily a good thing though. Compared to other strings I previously used, which usually were Dean Markley and D'addario also some GHS at times. These sound reeeeeally different. I honestly don't appreciate it a lot at the moment, because soon I will have a concert and need to recalibrate everything. They underline more distortion/ overdrive, and eq wise - they sound more bassy (mashed up too), and the highest notes are also stronger the only thing I like at the moment. The other strings I used were more balanced, or maybe I just was too used to them. Bottomline I will have to experiment with pedals to see if I find the sounds that convince me. But this is the first time in 20+ years I used these and its also the first time where I have seen so big changes in sound between one set and another

The "Old Reliable" That Bends Like Butter: Why I Always Come Back to the Green Pack
KuzmaFarkas 30.03.2026
Look, I’ve flirted with fancy coated strings that cost as much as a steak dinner, but I always come crawling back to the Ernie Ball 3221 Regular Slinky 3-Pack. It’s the "old reliable" of my guitar case.
Here’s why I’m obsessed:
The "Slinky" Factor: They bend like butter. I can hit a full-step bend without feeling like I’m playing a game of tug-of-war with a steel cable. My fingertips and I are finally on speaking terms again.
The Neon Green Savior: That 3-pack is a lifesaver. Pack 1 is for the gig, Pack 2 is for when I tune like a caveman and snap the high E, and Pack 3 is the "hidden treasure" I’ll find in my gig bag three months from now.
That Crisp Snap: Fresh out of the foil, they have that perfect "zing" that makes my budget amp sound like it's having a very expensive mid-life crisis.
The Verdict: 10/10. They’re the "Mr. Brightside" of strings—consistent, classic, and they never let the party down.

Not in the Green Foil Packs...
Vox Lover 24.10.2022
Very strange. Sure, you get a discount whenever you buy in bulk, so I went with the three-pack. BUT, the three packs you get are in clear plastic, not the green foil, and there's no indication that these are regular Slinkys except on the box they come in. You only get the top most string, the low E, and I guess the other gauges are given for the individual strings. I have tons of strings, for lots of different instruments - banjo, ukulele, mandolin, 12-string, 6-string - so when I go looking for a pack of Ernie Balls I expect to see the color and all the gauges listed. Piss poor.
