This is my first time purchasing this set of strings from Pyramid, after seeing a positive recommendation from a classical guitarist on YouTube. I decided to try them due to the brand’s tradition and the promise of medium tension.
Initial impressions:
The strings take a bit longer than expected to stabilize their tuning during the first hours of use (something common with nylon, but here I found it slightly more noticeable).
The tone is balanced and smooth, with clear projection in the trebles and a satisfying body in the bass.
The dynamic response is consistent, with no loss of clarity on stronger attacks.
Comfortable under the fingers, without excessive stiffness — which makes it easier to play fast passages and perform legato smoothly.
Final thoughts:
As I am still in the adaptation phase, I don’t want to be unfair in my initial judgment. However, so far I find these strings to be of very good quality, especially suitable for both classical and popular repertoire where clarity and musicality are equally important.
I recommend them for those looking for nylon strings with a good price-performance ratio and a traditional classical character, while keeping in mind that they may take a bit more time to settle into stable tuning.
