The mixer I've bought for homerecording because it is the most favorable which suits my requirements.
I have connected the following (at the same time)
Audio interface, synthesizer, mixer (bass player), bass preamp, guitars preamp, tapedeck, microphone, hi-fi boxes, monitor boxes.
The routing is optimal, stereo and Group individually selectable as well as 2xAUX, one of which with post / pre switch.

Sound and processing are top, can run all day without being warm despite internal power supply.

Highpass filter, very good volume display, good fader, rotary knobs passable usable.

I think the mixer with the appropriate rack-mounting sides in the table to build.

For the sound quality I have a small Behringer Eurorack and a 48 channel peavy for comparisons. The Behringer device sounds very bad in comparison to both, between the Peavy and the Yamaha I can find no difference and am satisfied with both.

Suboptimal and there is a point deduction for features and processing:

- Only 1 of the two aux has a pre / post switch, why not both?
- No inserts
- The slits in the faders are open and unprotected, as there should be a kind lip or brushing.

A versatile mixer

We bought this mixer to sound a group of ten musicians who play to accompany the mass in a church and also singing. They are mainly acoustic instruments: violin, flute, clarinet, sax alto and soprano, acoustic guitars and also a harmonium (electronic organ) that I connect via its headphone output (which causes some problems)
The table is very fast to take in hand and in 2O to 30 minutes everyone is connected and the scale made quickly. What is tricky is juggling the entrances. Although it has 12 inputs, only half are microphone inputs or have gain adjustment and only 4 have a compressor and attenuator pad. So we must anticipate the patch if not the last instruments are out and the guitars last minutes, we do not know where to put them! I had a problem with an electroacoustic guitar that gave nothing on a line input so I was forced to put it on a microphone input (and -1 micro) by increasing its gain and also with the harmonium which has a Low impedance headphone output and outputs a high current. When I plugged into a line input, I had no sound output by the master while I heard the headphone plugged on the table! I deduced that the table "clipped" because the signal was too strong. So I plugged the harmonium into a 1 to 4 mic / line input that has a -26 db attenuator pad and with the gain adjustment on both sides (table and organ), it goes well but I still lost A micro slice!
The sound is very good, the compressors and filters work well, both groups are practical to use (I put the singer on master and the other instruments on group 1-2) and then I switch the switch 1-2 on Master, which allows to have a single cable master out connected to the church amp but to manage separately the song and the instruments on the table.
The negatives: damage that there is no adjustment of gain on the slices 9/10 and 11/12 and no attenuator -26 db on these entries lines.
I admit to having myself also had by the panoramic adjustment. I go out all about master out right for example to a mono input of the church amp and if you do not pay attention to the setting of each of the tracks and the panning is in the middle, you lose half the power, It's stupid and you do not really notice it with the meter. A global PAN to master L or R of all channels would be more convenient. The ON / OFF buttons and the faders are very handy. The adjustment of the returns is more delicate, the potentiometer is less practical and as I play an instrument at the same time I correct the table, sometimes I regret that it is not a fader too. The manufacturing quality and robustness are very good. If one thinks well of its number of mini tracks and the location of each one, it is a Swiss knife to advise to all those who want a product of quality versatile.
