Ordered the J8 as part of a bundle with the JMIX8 and although I haven’t received my JMIX8 yet at the time of writing this review, the J8 has met and exceeded the expectations I had for a speaker of its size in comparison to 15 inch drivers I was using earlier.

For small to medium gigs, which is majority of what I cover as a mobile DJ, with approx 100-200 pax, it’s worth it’s weight in gold. It gives you a punchy bass on its own and very clear and crisp vocals, mids and highs from the satellite speaker, which slots in at the back inconspicuously for ease of transportation.

I cannot wait for the delivery of the JMIX8 to complete the set. Based on the quality of the J8 on its own, I am sure I will be amazed.

I bought Evox 8 before but sent it back. Wanted to try again with this j8 and after 2 gigs nothing but surprises. Even very positive reactions from the listeners, which is rare. Wondeful and even sound coverage.
For this price, unbeatible.

Very good sound, easy set up and very light. If you are playing with backing tracks, you will need 2 of these....one is not enough.
