Does not disappoint

I needed a horn case for my wide wrap Hoyer G10. Because initially I couldn't get a MB XL case I had to rely on another make, which although functional, was heavy and a dead-weight at that. I found myself stooping while carrying. I was was delighted when I found Thomann had an MB-5 XL in stock and snapped it up immediately. It fits the Hoyer, and now I can fit 2 mutes plus accessories into the compact case. It's much lighter, due to the glass-fibre construction, and I can now carry with a normal posture. MB designed these cases in response to alleviate back pain and in that respect, it's perfect. The zip pocket for music can only accommodate smaller sheets but carrying music separately is not really an issue for me. A great case, and the advantages more than outweigh the extra expense.

Sturdy lightweight case for a large horn

The MB case is not cheap but still offers good value for money. The internals are easily adjustable and re-configurable. Easily fits my Hoyer G10 and a couple of mutes. The hood for the bell flare offers good protection. The case while sturdy is lightweight and the comfortable straps makes carrying it around a breeze.
