Great! Absolutely test!

28.02.2016
The Haun couple I have added to the homestudio with my band to make reasonable overhead and acoustic guitars. On the drums they replace a pair of AKG Perception 170, which subjectively solved a bit too little and too much (what does not mean that the price / performance ratio is not there anyway). For the acoustic guitars, I have used an AKG C451 B, which is also at the Hihat and performs well. These are my only experiences so far with small diaphragm condenser microphones, which is why I can not serve with various comparisons, especially in the upper league.

The Haun come cleanly packaged in a chic case and make a perfectly processed impression. There are two high quality microphones (which unfortunately was not available at the time of ordering the product info, which is why I also invested in MKV9 from Beyer). Otherwise, on any Schnickschnack, documentation or similar. . After all, there is information on the manufacturer's website. I like it.

I do not have it quite a week, so I can only give here first subjective impressions. On the acoustic guitar they sound wonderfully silky and draw very fine. The close-up effect appears to be much less pronounced than in the above-mentioned AKG. In a direct comparison, the AKG was ultimately somehow too aggressive. I am very satisfied with the result, not to say enthusiastically and believe that the small Obrigheimer play here at least one class above the price C451. As an overhead they make the expected good figure, but the comparison with the P170 to not even 30% of the price lags tremendously.

Conclusion: highly recommended!

Lace small membrane set

Uwe387, 28.11.2017
I've been using the Haun stereo set for about 1/2 year now. When dubbing a video, the microphones have proven to be excellent. - They also made a good figure in the name of an acoustic guitar.

The features will miss one or the other a pad. Personally, not really, since I mostly do this on the preamp. The processing of the case is not really top class.

All in all, I am very satisfied, as I rate the performance of the microphone pair much higher than low processing errors or a missing pad.
