A great and simple solution.

Amplifying an acoustic guitar doesn't get much easier than this.

When I ordered this pickup I didn't expect much but thought it might just get the job done adequately. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

The tone from a magnetic pickup like this is much warmer and less "quacky" than from an under-saddle piezo. In my opinion it also sound more natural.

The attached cable is pretty long but some purchasers may decide to modify the lead so it has a jack socket on the end allowing longer cable runs.

Great value pickup that sounds really good.

I was using a traditional pick up on my Takamine. But the Magnetic Soundhole Pickup bar was a really positive surprise. The sound is neat and the design is very nice. If you look at the price, you would expect less sound quality. But, on the contrary, it performs very well and satisfactorily.
Good choice for your steel-string accoustic guitar!
