Since the hard rocking days of the '60s and '70s, Celestion's Greenback speakers have been synonymous with straight up Rock & R sounds. The new Greenback revives that classic sound, while really leaning into the vintage vibes visually, too, with its black Taurus tolex covering and a matching black cloth grille, accented by white piping trim. VERY pleased with this cabinet!

This is my first guitar cabinet ever, upgrading from a Peavey Vypyr VIP and a Marshall DSL20CR Combo.

Now, I'm using my Marshall DSL20CR Combo as a head with this cabinet and holly molly was this an upgrade!

> Construction wise, this guy is sturdy and strong as hell, can handle the combo on top of it just fine!

> Sound wise it's just beautiful. It has such an amazing level of detail, such a growl. Guys, ditch the damn Vintage 30's, these Celestion Greenbacks deliver all that death metal needs! Of course the sound will definitely depend on how the room is treated, so take that into account!! However, these greenbacks badboys are EXCELLENT.

> The looks are not Marshall's. If you bring a guitarist to choose between a Harley Benton cabinet or a Marshall one, guess which one most guitarist will choose, right? But this oughta end! I'm a firm believer that the sound comes 80% from the speakers themselves, 10%-20% from the build of the cabinet and absolutely 0% from the logo on the front! The logo is all placebo effect. That ain't any good for those who are just starting out and don't want to break the bank to purchase a fantastic guitar cabinet!

I use this guy mainly for my guitar tones of choice, the death metal ones. But this cabinet can deliver the goods for any rock and metal tones, and it's most likely the best choice taking into account its quality and price.

Best cabinet for the money

I am very happy with this purchase. It is very well made, no quality issues found so far. I absolutely love the sound of my tube amp through the Greenbacks. Great combination for blues/rock type of playing, but the clean tones are nicely expressed as well. Played a Blackstar, Marshall and Matamp with this cab and it goes along very well with each amp I plug in. You just can't go wrong with this cab.

La cassa ha un bell'aspetto con la rete rimovibile e la possibilità di aprirlo a metà sul retro. Cosa che ho fatto e il suono è incredibilmente migliorato !! una prelibatezza ad un prezzo vantaggioso. I Celestion GreenBack sono fantastici e si adattano perfettamente al mio suono. L'unico lato negativo per me sono gli angoli protettivi molto economici e la loro installazione un po' troppo decentrata. Vedremo se reggeranno al trasporto dal vivo. La cassa occupa poco spazio, ma supera il test del batterista in sala prove. Devo ancora provarlo dal vivo e poi darò un giudizio definitivo, ma per ora sono molto contento.

Un super baffle 2 Greenbacks au doux son blues rock !

Acheté pour driver un Tubemeister Delux 20 que du bonheur !
Son clair doux et chaleureux parfaitement resutué de l'ampli à tube. Restitution précise et sans bavure même en OD. Et quel sustain !
Que ce soit à 1 ou 5 ou 20W le son des micros simple bobinage ou humbucker n'est pas dénaturé.
Baffle bien fini digne des marques de références. Désolé de décevoir certains mais HB sait réaliser du bon matériel abordable.
Bref une association abordable et respectueuse de ce que l'on est en droit d'attendre pour ce type de son.
De plus livraison nickel par UPS avec un jour d'avance.
