3 strings are very good...

I've had these a couple of weeks now. I have a light carved bass with a low action. These strings give a nice woody sound without buzzing. They still have quite a low tension, giving little sustain or attack but are good for duo/trio acoustic jazz/bossas without drums. They need plenty of EQ manipulation if amplified.
The big negative is the performance of the E string, which appears to be the same diameter as the A string and is poor. I see that the makers now recommend buying an additional 'Twister' E string, but if it is any better, it should be included in the set.

Todella tymäkkä soundi

Tumma ja syvä soundi. Todella paljon "punchia". Alakertaa löytyy todella paljon, enemmän kuin muista kokeilemistani kielistä. Släppäys onnistuu ja soivatpa jotenkuten myös jousen kanssa. Sopii hienosti rokkenrollin soittoon ja sustainia löytyy yllättävän paljon tämän tyylisille kielille. Olen erittäin tyytyväinen ostokseen!

Gut a like ! !!!

Hallo erstmal!!!
Also kaufte mir vor ca einen halben jahr die Gut a like Saiten ,War mit der Verarbeitung sehr zu Frieden echt top.
Die d und g und a Saiten klingen echt gut aber leider ist die E Saite etwas zu schwach auf der Brust.
Und ich War mit ihr nicht so zu Frieden ,man kann sich bei gut a like direkt aber die Gut a like Twitter Saite bestellen statt der üblichen E Saite für ca 70 ? das Stück .
Leider gibt es die nicht bei thomann zu erwerben aber vieleicht holt das thomann ja noch nach .
Übrigens gibt es auch gleich Twiester Sets bei gut a like zu erwerben mit fast allen gut a like Saiten im Angebot und zu einen günstigen Preis natürlich .
Von mir gibt es deshalb nur vier Sterne für den Sound und fünf für die Verarbeitung.

à éviter à tout prix

C'est la premiere fois que j'essaye les cordes nylon, avant je jouais sur de la corde acier en tirant standart.
Ayant tendance à jouer comme une brute épaisse, j'ai essayé le tirant fort. Déja grosse galere pour monter les cordes. ( Obligé de retailler le cordier et plusieurs décrochages de chevalet). Ensuite, la corde de mi reste sur un tirant standart, ce qui fait qu'elle se retrouve etre tres peu tendu, et donc tres peu sonore par rapport aux autres cordes. J'ai été obligé de racheter en urgence une corde acier pour assurer le concert du soir. Et de passer la corde de mi à la place du la, où elle commence à etre crédible quoique encore trop molle par rapport au ré/sol. Par contre, ces cordes sont terribles pour le slap rockab', mais affreuses pour tout le reste. J'ai filé la contre à mon luthier pour voir s'il avait moyen de la régler en fonction pour pouvoir sauver le jeu, parce que ces cordes sont tout de même tres agréables à jouer. Pour ceux qui ne font pas que du slap, je leur conseille d'aller directement essayer le jeu signature avec la corde acier pour le mi, qui doit etre beaucoup plus crédible.
