Accurate & balanced sound: a quality near-field monitor

+ wooden box: great built quality
+ pronounced bass, no subwoofer required
+ plenty of power: can be used in large rooms
+ brutally honest and accurate sound: very easy to add EQ and reverb to a mix, you will hear things that you have not heard before

- too heavy to attach to wall (a bad idea anyway since monitors are rear-ported for bass)

Optics / Processing:

The Eve Audio SC208 is well-processed. What does not come across the photos in the net are the modern rounded edges of the case. The boxes are quite large and completely fill the surface of a normal box stand. The knob for all settings is located at the front and is well processed but unfortunately made of plastic instead of eg. Alu, which diminishes the good impression somewhat.

That's why he "clacks" also unpleasantly cheaply when one presses it to jump into the menu. As said, only this selection button, the rest is impeccably built.
