Best strings for my drop tuning needs. 130 tuned down to A shakes the foundations and stays in tune regardless of how i abuse it ;-) Beste Kaufempfehlung!

Really good strings for low tuning and bending

I bought these strings as I was converting a cheap LTD bass into a BEAD-tuning monster. For 26€ these strings are really amazing.

Getting these on the bass did require a bit of fiddling around, mainly filing the nut to properly sit the heavier gauge strings. I also had to file the rear of the bridge a little, as the B-string was too thick to go through it.

After the initial setting down period the strings have stayed in tune perfectly. For a BEAD-tuning they've been perfect, even the low B (which often can cause problems with tuning and/or intonation) has been brilliant. And the way you can bend these... oh man. You can easily bend 1½ notes with little effort, at times even more.

So, to summarize: if you want good heavy strings for low tunings AND dig bending them like crazy, this set is definitely worth trying out.
