Absolutely gorgeous craftsmanship in this, really aesthetically beautiful guitar. The functionality is great also, the split coils work very well. Wonderful, warm vintage tones with the humbuckers, it's a real joy to play.

Tout d’abord merci à l’équipe Thomann pour ses conseils et soins jusqu’à la livraison !
Une première pour moi d’avoir choisi ce niveau de prix et je ne regrette pas cet effort,
cette guitare est magnifique et correspond à mes attentes. La qualité de fabrication est excellente, le jeu agréable de facilité malgré juste un p’tiit temps d’adaptation, « c’est une mini ! » et vous invite à vous appliquer pour épouser ses dernières frètes.
Un régal pour le son que l’on peut moduler aisément en cours de jeu grâce aux réglages faciles d’accès sur l’instrument et puis une tonalité puissante naturelle grâce aux excellents micros Seymour Duncan 59. En version acoustique l’harmonie des sons est très juste et donc vous permet de jouer discrètement sans déranger personne lorsqu’une inspiration vous vient très tardivement.
Un très grand Bravo à la maison D’Angelico !

Die Gitarre kam ab Werk mit ziemlich perfekter Saitenlage. Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos, das Gewicht liegt bei 3,3 kg.
Eine leichte Kopflastigkeit ist gegeben, aber nicht störend. Für mich war der kleinere Korpus sehr angenehm und insgesamt ist die Gitarre eine Augenweide, wenn man nicht gerade auf puristische Gitarren steht.
Der Klang ist voll und variabel durch die Coil Split Optionen. Die Pickups klingen hell und dürften gut durchsetzungsfähig sein.
Ich hatte mir einen etwas mehr gedeckten, holzigeren Sound gewünscht und deshalb geht sie leider zurück.

Liuteria di qualità, made in Korea, si vede soprattutto sull'attaccatura del manico e sulla rifinitura di tasti. Nulla a che vedere con le serie "economiche" di Gibson.

Suono davvero pieno, ma gestibile, ottimo treble bilanciato, bassi presenti ma mai ingombranti. Meno "cavernosa" rispetto alle sorelle a cassa grande (335-style) suona più "moderna", senza perdere però i toni distintivi delle semi-acustiche. Acquistata soprattutto per suonare puliti sporchi, mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso sui distorti, anche spinti.

La D'Angelico Mini DC è una chitarra molto compatta, comoda ed ergonomica. Una semiacustica pratica da portare anche in giro.
E' leggerissima, pesa meno di una Stratocaster. C'è da dire che con la tracolla è leggermente sbilanciata verso il manico, ma è un difetto facilmente risolvibile con un pesino sulla parte destra della tracolla.

Pro: meccaniche Grover, manico comodissimo in ebano, strap lock, verniciatura molto bella, humbucker splittabili con push-pull, leggerezza, praticità, ergonomia da seduti.

Contro: knob volume e tono un po' "plasticosi" al tatto, leggermente sbilanciata di peso con la tracolla.
