Exelent Bass Drum Head!

A nice thud without the mud! I like the pinstripe clears for my tom batter heads to get an attack that cuts through in a mix but keeps a nice low end thud. That's my two cents.Great for recording
Controlled and balances sound. Keeps overtones under control. Great for recording, checked in studio.

Great for its price

When I was choosing a drumhead for my bass drum, it was important for me to find something that was both high-quality and affordable. The Remo 22" Pinstripe Clear immediately caught my attention because it struck the perfect balance between reliability and reasonable pricing.

This drumhead offers excellent sound characteristics for its price range. I’ve noticed that even with heavy playing, it maintains its shape and sound without needing frequent replacements. What I particularly appreciate is that for its price, I got a durable and long-lasting product that meets my demands both in the studio and on stage.

If, like me, you’re looking for an affordable yet quality bass drumhead, the Remo Pinstripe Clear is an excellent choice.

Great head for the price

First and foremost I play rock music with a Ludwig kit and DW kicker

I found the head to be quite 'boomy' at first, I was more after a tight response.

Once I used a beater pad on the skin it shortened the decay drastically and really gave me the sound I was looking for. I also found the sound more to my liking using the hard side of the beater as that helped with the attack/decay sound I was after to rock music.

Quality was excellent, although I was user a beater pad, so this helped spread the impact of the head on each kick. Remo are a recognised brand mind, and all of their heads have always been superb for me

Would recommend!
