I bought these as an alternative to the Pro Mark TX5BN Hickory - Nylon Tip sticks which I have been using for a while. I actually ended up preferring the untreated surface of these sticks and haven't noticed any difference in durability.

Fantastic sticks

Absolutely amazing sticks. The nylon tips are durable, sound good and feel good. Great feel on the surface, and the sticks are well balanced. Very pleased.

My go to stick! Sticks are a personal choice however - i like the feel of these (Personally) and i always choose the nylon tip as I like to wash on the ride cymbal a lot! nylon tip in my opinion cuts through better than the wooden tip.

Der perfekte Stick!

Ich nutze den Stick im Thrash- und Deathmetalbereich.
Zuvor hatte ich den Natural Stick ohne Nylontip, weil ich ohne Nachbearbeitung des Holzes mehr Grip habe. Jedort verschliss der Kopf aufgrund der aggressiven Spielweise zu schnell.
Ein Nylontip weist zum einen eine bessere Haltbarkeit auf, als auch einen definierteren Anschlag - vor allem auf der Ride.
Meine Empfehlung in dieser Kombination also für alle, die gerne mal etwas härter "draufhauen"und deshalb schwitzige Hände haben...
