I've been playing with this guitar for a couple of days now and I'm still in a state of confusion. How can this be so good at this price point? I don't know if I'm just lucky or what... All of the finishing is great and well above what one could expect. The action was readily good and low and the intonation was well. The neck (while it is very chunky) feels perfect to my "hand taste" and the fret ends are very, very neatly finished. The feel of play on this is much better than in many, many much more expensive guitars. The tuners are constant and keep the tune very well even in a bit more bendy going.
The pickup switch and volume and tone knobs work as they should. The pickups produce a very "natural" sound and are nicely responsive. I don't know if the price of this is going to show in time but as it is now...
Edit: Had this guitar for about 2 years now, I've changed the nut, the string trees to rollers (wouldn't have to, this guitar _seriously_ holds the tune) and the tone pot (felt that the original was too linear). At home I find myself often picking up this one for just noodling without amp, it resonates beautifully. The frets are showing some wearing already which is a bit fast and surprising, but then again, this is such a fine specimen that I don't mind doing a little fretwork and for the price, even if I would have to pay for full fret change in the future, this guitar is a treasure to hold on to.
