For the fullest and punchiest tone

EC2s are the Pinstripe equivalents by Evans and deliver a similar tone. Punchy, fat, suitable for louder music styles where you want to have a modern deep tom sound.

The only downside to these is that because these are designed to be punchy and quick, they lose tone quite quickly once they start to wear out and don't maintain a usable tone as long as a normal double-ply head does, in my experience. Especially with 8" and 10" toms this can become an issue, as there is little sustain to begin with.

To me it sound very similar to a Remo Pinstripe, but with a little more sustain while mantaining that shorter/punchy sound. Still need to hear them in a few different comntext but for now I'm very satisfied!
