A detailed replica of Wata's favourite fuzz: the Elk BM Sustainar, offers a rich distortion with smooth sustain and unique grit, excellent response to different pickup types and dynamics in play
Unique tone and sustain controls which directly influence the character of the distortion
Offers plenty of output volume (Unity is at 9-10 o'clock, everything above that is 'set to destruction')

Great sounding pedal, not what I expected though. It´s good for heavier sounding tones. So, if your´re after a fuzz sound, don´t bother. If you´re after a high gain compressed sound with tons of sustain then it´s ok.
Edit: I recently bought the TC electronic Mimiq. Glad to say, it took this pedal to whole new level. ;)

Violent little box

This pedal sounds gritty & huge. It will please the fans of Boris sound more than I expected a single pedal ever could.
Contrary to some reviews, the tone can get very muddy quite easily losing the strong mids and highs, however that can be avoided.

Heavier than a death in the family

As a long time fan of Boris and Wata I jumped on this the second I learned of its existance and I am not disapointed. It's a big muff on steroids, capable of unleashing a wall of noise with no support whatsoever, and the controls are good enough that it's not restricted only to big doom chords. You can get into some nasty ear splitting soloing too.
Build wise this is basically a metal brick and the knobs feel sturdy and responsive. The killer artwork also doesn't hurt.
All in all, this thing plain rules.

歪 (hizumi) means distorted, for those of you wondering about the name.

That's the only thing I can say about it that I didn't immediately come up when googling it. Youtube will tell you what it sounds like. It's obviously well built.

I play it through a Koch Jupiter 45W amp, single coil overwound Mustang. I love it, it's the best sounding pedal I have if you're into these things.
