The Ram's Head is a diverse, well built, and most importantly tonally sound fuzz pedal that offers you a wide range of great and iconic tones.
The Ram's Head is an iconic pedal, that holds an impressive track record of multiple legendary artists, such as David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. The pedal offers a wide range of tones from subtle but tasteful distortion all the way to the fuzziest distorted mess (in a good way). The pedal has incredible sustain which helps it stand out over the playing of other bandmates when your soloing.
The pedal has just the right amount of knobs that you can find the tone that suits you the best, but not get lost in the complexity of it. It's not the most tameable fuzz pedal you can find on the market, but fear not, even intermediate players can quickly learn how to handle the Ram's kick.
The pedal does have a slight background hiss when your not playing, even at lower volumes, though it isn't that noticeable and distracting. And you can always just turn it on and off as you please to get rid of the noise.
The pedal itself is of great quality and seems super sturdy and "rigid", so you're probably not going to break it accidentally even if you stomp on it all day. The pedal comes with a 9 Volt battery pre installed so don't worry about having to go shopping for them if you for some reason don't have them at your disposal.
