So versatile!

Wow! That punch side (SD-1 on sterioids) is awesome! From mild semi-clean to something that is almost bordering distortion.. I meawn it can do leads with a clean amp! (using it with plexi-clone amp)
And with 3-band eq you can dial almost anything from it. From midboost to scooped 80's lead tones.

Great price too - well done Brian & team!

Surprised how I use it

After using the pedal for a while I realize I use it as an es pedal … . Strangely enough I did not yet get a fantastic tone out of it on it’s own (both on Fender and Marshall type amps). However I use it to get great tones out of my fuzz pedals and other overdrives. The key is of course the mid knob. The pedal is really great to fill up the missing parts on the tone spectrum or to lower certain frequencies. As a result I now have most of the time ‘stacked overdrives’ and far more tonal control. I wanted it to fill the gap of ‘mid boost’ overdrive in my collection and maybe it just made clear why I did not have a tube screamer. However it iscused almost all the time to get the tone I like to play with.

Der Mid-Poti... Einfach nur geil

Das Ding ist nicht ohne Grund von Josh Scott (JHS) als besserer "Bad Monkey" bezeichnet worden.

Der mit Mid-Button ist einfach genial und bietet so viele Tonale Möglichkeiten... Und das ist noch nicht alles. Der Punch und der Smooth mode ist auch absolut brauchbar, um entweder die Kanten zu glätten oder mehr Pfeffer zu geben.

Einfach hervorragend, dieses Teil.

great overdrive at this price

This pedal takes the bluesy tube screamer sound to another level. The 3 band EQ and circuit switch make it incredibly versatile. However if you're after something super high-gain this isn't it and i just wish you didn't have to open it up to access the switches which unlock the "additional glassiness".
