Comfortable pick

Dinolp is the brand I prefer. I use the pick mostly for travis picking.

The sound that I get out these picks is just what I want. Not too hard nor too soft.

One interesting fact: I usually use a dunlop medium size pick, but I ordered by mistake one size large pick, and the pick is still a very good fit, I have small hands, so I was a little bit surprised that the L sized pick fitted my thumb so well.

As far as thumb picks go in general, you have to try your way out, and that way find the one that is the best pick for you.

to pick or to strum? both

i have a pretty big thumb, so it squeeze it too hard so I can't use it for longer than ~10 minutes. On the other hand tight fit means it really becomes a continuation of my own finger -- and it really convenient to play both chords and single string sections, almost like with the finger.
It sounds pretty close as 2mm thick dunlop ultex (at least for my ears, i'm just a beginner), but more convenient... If only it would be a little bit bigger to squeeze a little less...!

Bought it to try out after I saw an old video of Chas Chandler using a thumb pick to play bass in the Animals. Works fine, but I'm sticking to finger style.

Does what you expect,..but I quickly got rid of the thumb picks myself,...so my review is not really of much use to you i guess,..
