I've been a Behringer fan for years. Well made products at affordable prices. My brother asked me to get him a sound system for a small living room. He wanted speakers with not too much bass response so as not to annoy the neighbours. He is not a fan of surround sound. When I saw these I thought hell yeah! We could give them a try and if he didn't like them we could take advantage of the 30 day money back guarantee. We did not need to use it. He was more than happy!
They come well packed and are a neat & tidy size. Wall brackets are included. Which makes great value. Paired with convection cooled t.amp S100 MKII Amp, they deliver clear and crisp highs and mids and just enough bottom end for his needs. They suit the size of room perfectly 3M X 8M. For a larger room you would need a larger, more powerful pair of speakers. These speakers fit the space perfectly. For someone who likes plenty of bass, you would definitely need to add a Sub-Woofer.
Although not quite the same, these little puppies are on a par with JBL control 1's but are almost half the price. Definitely worth the money for a small space. They would also make for a great pair of reference speakers in a home studio with the addition of a Sub for the lower frequencies.
