I needed a replacement bridge for my Ibanez SR bass, as the original had broken. I had to find a bridge which fitted the recess on the Ibanez body. The Schaller 3-D5 was a near perfect fit with only a small amount of rework required to make it fit. Good solid product, very quick service to the UK.

Great sustain! I don’t know what material it is made of (metal or brass), but it works well. I had to drown it a little into the case (although a lifting plate is included in the kit). The bass guitar is not a specific manufacturer, but was made to order from a good master.
I knew that the bridge was massive, weighted, and I knew its dimensions.
So the inset in the deck was not news to me. I was ready for this.
Plus: Great sustain! Works as stated in the description!

Minus: Not detected. Except that black paint can peel off over time; this will not affect the sound in any way.
I am very pleased that I chose "Schaller 3-D5 B"

This was bought to replace the old bridge on my bass for purely cosmetic reasons. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the look of the product when it arrived, and was even happier with just how easy it was to install.
I was expecting no significant improvement in sound, but I've increased the sustain significantly, and the bass sounds great!
I'd recommend this to anyone.
