Game changer for the price of 3 tanks of petrol

In the past I have tried
several SW products, but I had the feeling that the output sound was messed up.
On the other hand, after trying this product, I
excited! I recently finished Studio B, due to the heavy workload of the main studio. It's a room with acoustic compromises and we've kind of learned to work in it. But when I turned on ARC Studio, it changed my Zivot. It's like someone pulled the plugs out of my ears! The sound is suddenly balanced. Those 80Hz that were rumbling in there are suddenly playing cleanly, and those 12kHz that were swallowed up are back. Well done IK Multimedia.

Could be nice to have possibility to buy another one without the measuring microphone (I have already 5 of them from iLoud speakers).

Great Results

Firstly, I'm not a professional, or a musician, just someone that enjoys listening to music. I have a nice desk-top set-up and I have previously messed around with room correction, using a USB measuring microphone and REW (Room EQ Wizard) and I've had good results with it.

However, the ARC Studio is a far more straight forward, guided process. It took me about 15 minutes to take the measurements and set up the ARC Studio box. Once set up, you can pretty much forget about it; it just sits there and does its thing. I'm very pleased with the results and those that have used room correction before will have an idea of what to expect; increased clarity, better imaging, less muddy bass - all those nice things.

As a home user, the need to buy a separate audio interface just to use the measurement microphone and take the measurements was a bit of a drawback, but I understand that many people will already have one. However, it would be nice if there was a microphone input on the studio box itself; after all, it already has analogue to digital capability, and one of the input channels could double up as a microphone input - so it needn't increase the cost as much as an entirely separate audio interface.

Transforming My Audio Experience

As an audio enthusiast, I was thrilled to get my hands on the IK Multimedia ARC4 System. The setup was a breeze, and the results were nothing short of astounding.
