I used this string to replace a broken wound D on my mountain dulcimer. It works nicely and I prefer the sound to the wound string in the Daddario dulcimer set, although it squeaks a bit more.

Les cordes Exlir acoustiques me donnent généralement entière satisfaction, mais récemment, j'ai cassé deux cordes de Sol en une heure. Je n'ai rien trouvé de particulier au niveau du chevalet de ma guitare, à l'endroit où les deux cordes ont cassé. Il est intéressant que Thomann vende ces cordes à l'unité, mais en racheter deux m'a coûté pas loin le prix d'un jeu complet, ce qui est un peu rageant. Ma note moyenne concerne donc plus le prix élevé que la qualité intrinsèque du produit. À noter que l'emballage est très léger (dans le carton avec le reste de produits commandés, simplement dans la petite pochette papier Elixir) : il m'est déjà arrivé de trouver au déballage une corde marquée par des plis sur une précédente commande. Heureusement, Thomann a toujours été réactif et m'en a renvoyée une autre.
