Great product, super quality and 5 minute fitting without doing any irreversible damage to your precious rickenbacker bass.. drops straight into the existing tailpiece and is very easy to adjust the string height and intonation for a perfect setup.. and it’s cheaper than the v2 bridge that rickenbacker offer, I can’t rate this highly enough.. superb bit of kit

Leider ist die Bridge des Ric4003 zum Abgleich Saitenhöhe und Intonation schwierig einzustellen. Zwar gibt es inzwischen von Ric eine neue Bridge (4003v2), aber diese ist sehr teuer und zur Zeit (außer in GB) nicht lieferbar. Dazu kommt, dass man das Tailpiece mit austauschen muss, inklusive neuer Bohrungen !
Mit der Babicz-Bridge bleibt einem das alles erspart...und ein Rückbau ist ohne grossen Aufwand möglich, ohne Spuren zu hinterlassen!
Ein Abgleich der Saitenhöhe ist mit Schrauben einstellbar, Intonation wird aber nicht über Schrauben eingestellt, sondern muss per Hand "zurechtgerückt" werden ! Ist aber kein Problem und lässt sich zu 100% hinkriegen ! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen !

acheter car j'avais une action un peu haute sur ma 4001, je pensais pouvoir descendre de beaucoup et bien non (obligé d'ajuster les pontets à la lime).
Les pontets sont aussi haut que ceux d'origine et le seul avantage est la course pour les réglages d'intonation (surtout pour le Mi).
La conception est bizarre car les pontets tiennent par pincement latéral et ne sont pas retenus dans l'alignement des cordes.
Je vais voir avec le temps si cela ne bouge pas mais je pense le changer rapidement.
C'est cher payé pour pratiquement pas de changements sur ma basse

Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to test this in my Rickenbacker 4003S. Didn't expect much, but this thing is really solid piece of equipment.

I think the bass sounds better, it's way easier to get the intonation spot on, it even balances better due to added weight in the bridge. Nothing rattles in the bridge. This is super solid. Got the action pretty low, 3mm on 12th fret.

One star of for subpar screws that came with it. One snapped in two when I tightened it. I was able to get the stump out with pliers without damage to the bass, but I didn't use the included mounting screws after that.

It's also a bit fiddly to get the intonation right, lot easier than the original bridge though, so I'm pretty happy with it.
