Yamaha SVC 50 Silent Cello

Being a classical musician you can’t help but to be a bit skeptical when it comes to electrified instruments, but this silent cello really does sound very well. It is perfect for silent practice in hotel rooms and at home when you don’t want to disturb anyone, and it is also quite fun to use the different built in acoustic possibilities. It feels like a real cello although it doesn’t have the full body, and it seems like Yamaha put a lot of scientific effort into placing the contact points exactly where they need to be in order to make cellists feel comfortable. The strings that come with the instrument is just crap, but I changed to Pirastro Perpetual Soloist which make a huge difference in sound and accuracy. I definitely recommend this product.
