The Low Gain I was hoping for
I was looking for a Low gain OD pedal to complement a Fulltone OCD. OCD is great for Strat, but a bit too much for Les Paul.
I tested TrophyFX Peacekeeper with Greer Lightspeed and Wampler Tumnus Deluxe and found Tumnus a little bit muddy and less sharp for my taste, but a good pedal.
The Peacekeeper and Lightspeed were very close, but Peacekeeper kept the tone better when adjusting Volume and Gain.
So the Peacekeeper stayed. The fact that it stacks very well with Distortions and Overdrives was an unexpected bonus. I put it last in the chain before the amp.
Pros:
Clear sound
Wide range of tones (Pres, Bass, Treb)
Can go really low gain but also push a lot
Stacks really well with other dirt
Cool design
Cons (a tiny one):
Maybe a bit hard to read the text, but I use it for playing mainly and you learn fast what the knobs do anyway.
I really like it and recommend it if you are looking for a low gain with lots of range on all the knobs.
