Great build quality but changed nothing for me.
I will preface by saying that this is probably a great product when used correctly so mainly this will be as a warning to those who have their hopes up that it could fix their problem.
I have a pair of monitor speakers that I've been running with unbalanced RCA connections to my soundcard. There was a bit of buzzing coming from them which I had hoped could have been remedied by these since the inputs on the monitors are only meant for balanced connections. I bought two of these including the necessary cables, connected it all and found that it made absolutely no difference in the buzzing and in fact, I now hear a slightly (and I mean slightly) louder buzz. Not only that, now my speakers don't go in to power saving mode when not used (probably because the transfomer (inductor) induces an opposing current when the amplifier shuts down and no longer feeds a current through the connection.
Conclusion:
A great product in the right hands, but a disappointment to me.
