It works for drop tunings
I purchased this one so that I could easily drop tune my low E-string without affecting the others, and it does that well once set up properly.
Playing with the Tremmory feels much like playing a hardtail, but still being able to use the bar in both directions. The only limitation I know is that I can't slap the bar to make a Petrucci style flutter.
The setup itself was rather complicated. I highly recommend that you measure the distance for your tremolo springs according to the manual from Guitars Upgrade before choosing what size of Tremmory to buy.
I'd say the main advantage is that the tremmory isn't a permanent mod and it can theoretically just be taken out and mounted into any other guitar, but given the time and effort it took me to get the balance right, it wont be taken out anytime soon.
I also broke a string once without affecting the tuning of the others.
I would recommend this if you really don't want to drill or screw anything into place on your guitar, but I think there are easier and cheaper ways to achieve the same functionality.

It works as advertised(mostly)
This was a bit painful to get in the sweet zone(I work as a guitar tech). Although with some time and tweaking managed to get the right results. The bar feels a lot more stiff, and has a interesting character when diving. Double stops do stay in tune and if you snap a string it will stay in tune as well. 4/5 might take it out, might leave it in.
