Neat, compact and powerful

Let me explain, the reason I ended plumbing for the Pro-Ject VC-E2 was because after extensive research it was clear that this (newish to market) machine was exactly what I was after. I have just inherited a friends record collection. His collection had undergone numerous house moves and renovations. As a result his vinyl was badly covered in dust and smudges . The very sturdy compact Pro-Ject VC-E2 is a perfect quick way to wash (fluid provided) each 12” album or 7” and dry with the vacuum arm in a very short time. It’s a good looking machine and very quiet. Although, when using the suction arm it does sound like a full size domestic vacuum cleaner (2 cycles in each direction is all you need, 30 seconds or so). As I say, research pointed me in this direction and I have not been disappointed. Great build quality but the best part, it brings up the vinyl beautifully.
Thrilled with my purchase.

Laut aber effektiv

Seit knapp 3 Tagen reinige ich meine Flohmarktplatten mit dem Pro-Ject VC-E2 und bin begeistert. Die Lautstärke beim Absaugen der Reinigungsflüssigkeit ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber eine gute Absaugung muß auch Geräusche machen dürfen. Es ist wie beim Staubsauger - ist der zu leise, hat man das Gefühl er saugt nicht richtig. Beim Pro-Ject VC-E2 habe ich nicht nur ein gutes Gefühl beim Reinigen, sondern sehe auch das perfekte Ergebnis. Die Platten schauen wieder aus wie neu. Wunder kann die Waschmaschine auch nicht vollbringen und Kratzer im Vinyl bleiben Kratzer im Vinyl. Fettfingerabdrücke, vergossene Getränke etc. verschwinden aber und die Platten erstrahlen im neuen Glanz. Abschließend kann ich den Pro-Ject VC-E2 nur empfehlen und bereue den Kauf überhaupt nicht. Nicht zu vergessen, die Magnethalterung für die Platten ist klasse und erspart einem das Rumgeschraube. Auch die kompakte Bauform kommt mir und meinem permanenten Platzmangel stark entgegen.

Ich hatte zuvor Pro-Ject VC-S2. Mit der war ich aber mit ganz zufrieden. Der Schraubverschluss war wackelig und nie ganz dicht. Die Plattenlabel wurden des öfteren mal nass.
Das ist mit der neuen VC-E2 komplett vorbei.
Am besten allerdings ist die Magnethalterung. Spart wirklich viel Zeit und hält dicht.
Auch die Absaugung ist nochmal besser geworden und auch etwas leiser.

Kann das Gerät nur empfehlen.
