Worth the money
I have already American Strat with stainless frets, I was looking guitar for hard rock playing with good floating bridge. I considered about 10 guitar, but at the end i chosed HB – and it was great decision. This guitar is amazing itself, but given price is totally bang for the buck. Specification is high-end (1000-2000$), overall impressiones are totally positive. We have minor issues (below), but all of them you could resolve on your own.
Pros:
- really good initial setup - guitar is ready to play from the box.
- you can set low action without fret-buzzing (below 1,5mm on high E, below 2mm on low E)
- original floyd rose bridge! (no special or licensed versions)
- stainless 24 frets, well shaped
- low weight (it’s huge different comparing to my Strat)
- comfortable neck (C-shape like in my Strat), not thin, but quite beefy - still you could shred. My left hand is satissfied
- humbuckers are quite good - they have low output (like in my Strat), but i like it. If you want to play metal music, you will propably change them
- really good looking, like in really high-end guitars
Cons:
- minor imperfections paint finish in pickups bays
- switch after few days began to crackle (it need be replaced immediately)
- non locking tuners (more time to change strings)
- push-pull in tone pot is hard to use (you will definitely change the tone settings)
- frets need polishing (tip: you can use nails polisher with high grade)
This guitar is excellent base for modifations. I changed strings to 9-42, polished frets and now it awesome shred machine. In future I will rewire electric and install dynamix10 from Ibanez.

Jedyna rzecz to łączenie gryfu z pudłem. Generalnie wszystko z nim OK, ale wygląda trochę "topornie", ujmuje lekkości reszcie instrumentu.
