- Made by master luthier Bodo Vosshenrich in the south of France
- Top, back and sides are cold-pressed from ingeniously perforated, high-quality sheet aluminium
- The Electrolin has a soundpost, a bass bar and a light and relatively elastic bridge
- The wood and aluminium parts are assembled with high-tech epoxy glue
- Scale and body length correspond to the acoustic violin, the weight is approx. 15% higher than on the acoustic violin

- Fine-tuning tailpiece
- Sound generated via 3 strategically placed PDVF foil pickups
- 6.3 mm mono jack socket as output
