Top quality, extra sturdy, improved my tuning and sound, 95% optimized
I've bought it to improve my Yamaha Pacifica, which already had pretty decent bridge, but without a full size block.
Pros:
-sturdiness, finish, precision
-all points of friction are rounded , their number is reduced, the friction is minimized which gives pro tuning stability
-the resistance of the trem arm rotation may be set with an appropriate screw. The bridge has built-in teflon socket which assures good fit and prevents wear
-all additional elements like the arm, the claw, 5 tension strings are provided
-small elements like screws and little springs are provided with spares - no worry if you lost one or two of them
Cons:
-The saddles are a bit higher than my original ones, due to which I needed to file one saddle down to a lower height (for the high e) - the filing is underneath the saddle, it is invisible, neither the looks nor the strength of the element were compromised
-For those who are annoyed by the saddle screws sticking out and hurting them - they do stick out here just like in classic bridges
-the small springs pushing the saddles are too weak - I had to replace them
Overall I am happy with the purchase, combined this bridge with graphtech string trees and my guitar stays in tune in both bends and tremolo action. I can do flutters, dive bombs ect with reliable stability. Small adjustements like filing of one saddle or changing the little springs were necessary to adapt the bridge to my guitar.
