A German quality product
Imagine you buy a guitar, let's say a Harley Benton lp style for less than 200 Euro's, in that case a bridge that cost 55 Euro's is a lot. A fourth of the guitar. My very favorite HB guitar made me decide to upgrade the hardware; tuners and bridge. (Nut was bone already!) All together more than half the price of the guitar. My Harley that was standard made of fine materials and of good playability is after this 'operation' a high quality instrument now. The Schaller bridge does't know what the word 'rattle' means. It is absolutely tight. Does not move around and is also side ways adjustable to reach the string spacing to fit my needs perfectly. The sound of the HB did benefit likewise. A 'finer' touch and sound. 'Palm muting' feels comfortable. I bought exactly the same Schaller bridge for a1970 ties Gibson SG 200 around 1980. The quality of the materials and chrome is superb and of the highest German standard. The bridge i bought around 1980 still works perfect. My opinion: A good investment.
