I bought this bass for a friends to use with Abelton (music editing software) for the incredible price of only 100 euros.
The bass has two no-name single coil jazz pickups. The pickups have surprisingly little hum to them. They sound okay, they're a bit weak, but work well enough for use with Abelton. Luckily they can always be replaced should it ever be necessary.
The tuning keys are also no-name parts, but they work well enough. The gear ratio is probably not great, but they are stable and I had no problem tuning the bass.
The fretwork is decent, only the eleventh fret was a bit high, but I can always file it down a bit.
The bridge is in the style of Fender, which is not my favourite to set up for intonation, but it works. The intonation it came with on the E and A string was sadly pretty poor, but that's nothing a few turns from a screwdriver can't fix.
The neck has a C-shape, which is very comfortable IMO.
The strings that came with the guitar were actually pretty decent.
The box also came with a cable included.
The gloss finish on the guitar is beautiful, which I did not expect for a guitar at this price. The only blemish I could find, was that there was some white stuff on the pickups.
In short, this is a bass at a great price, a lot better than I expected could be possible. It's no far from perfect, but has a great price to performance ratio.
