Decent, but not amazing

The case is large and kind of bulky. It does work though and keeps the recorder pretty firmly there in a nice way. It's durable, well made, fine. But it's larger than what I wanted. I would have preferred to find a thin plastic shell case, like what came for free with the ancient h4n, but this is not that. However, it is better and less bulky than the generic third party cases I evaluated prior to buying this. So I think at the moment it's probably the best one can do in terms of h5 studio cases.

The usb cable and the usb charger... who cares? Nobody is buying this for that.

The dead cat wind screen is decent and fits snuggly over the mics. No complaints there.

So I give it 3 stars in total. It's not _bad_ but it's kind of pricey and kind of bulky and not exactly the case I would want if I could mint cases out of thin air.

Nützliches Zubehörpaket

Die Tasche ist gut verarbeitet und der Zoom H5studio Handy Recorder passt perfekt hinein. Man kann kleineres Zubehör (SD-Karte, USB-Kabel, Zoom BTA-1) im oberen Teil gut verstauen.

Der Fellwindschutz passt gut auf das Mikrofon. Weil ich Angst habe, dass sich das Fell in den Reißverschluss verfängt, habe ich ihn zum Schutz in eine Tüte gepackt.

Das mitgelieferte Netzteil (USB-A-Anschluss) ist für mich unnützes Beiwerk. Im Außeneinsatz bezieht das Gerät den Strom über Batterien oder einer Powerbank, weil in der Regel keine Steckdose vorhanden ist. Am Computer kommt der Strom per USB.

Mit den USB-C auf USB-A Kabel kann man den Recorder mit dem PC verbinden (als Interface oder zur Datenübertragung). USB-C-Anschluss für das H5studio, USB-A-Anschluss zum PC. Für eine Verbindung mit einem Smartphone/Tablet ist das Kabel unbrauchbar.

Bad Windjammer from ZOOM

This particular article brings a windjammer or wind protection supposedly suited for the new ZOOM H5Studio but it just doesn't work. Even the lightest breeze will bring noise to the capsules of this recorder, it's like ZOOM doesn't even care anymore. THE H5Studio has upgraded capsules in size and sensitivity but this feature should be a factor to have in mind when selling a kit that bring "suited wind protection" and it's not the case.

The bag that comes with it is ok, but for the wind protection, it's a scam.
