Ich habe einen tragbaren Amp für Jazz-Gigs (primär Big Band) gesucht, der meine Fender Amps ersetzt. Leider muss man ja oft noch vom nächsten Parkplatz durch die Stadt laufen und da macht dann jedes Kilo einen Unterschied.
Der Amp spricht schnell an, reagiert dynamisch auf den Anschlag, hat schöne clean und crunch-Sound und ist durch die verschiedenen Voicing-Switches sehr vielseitig. Das Spielgefühl geht allerdings schon ein wenig in Richtung eines Transistor-Amps, also schnell und klar aber vielleicht etwas zu wenig 3D.
Er hat einen eigenen Sound, weniger voll und rund als ein Deluxe, eher mittig und mit ausgeprägten Höhen (Richtung Vox oder Marshall vielleicht), die für Jazz-Rock und Jazz für meinen Geschmack nicht funktionieren, für alle Pop- und Rock-Anwendungen aber sicher passend sind.

Second amp I ordered that also does not work !!

I ordered the V40 after reading a lot of good reviews about the tones you can get out of it. Unfortunately it was really disappointing to find out the poor build quality. Both amps had the same issue on the high (40W) setting. Incredible loud pops and noise without even plugging in my guitar. Have to send this one back also and give up on Victory amps...
