The A/D converters broke down after less than three years of use
The Volt 476P is an interesting concept; I really like the look of it – the knobs are a bit plasticky, but given the price, that’s acceptable. The main problem is that the converters have failed after less than three years of use, all in the studio. I’m sure it’s the converters, because I can hear the first two channels (1–2) during monitoring, even with their effects applied, but when recording, there’s nothing but noise. Meanwhile, I can hear the other two channels (3–4) perfectly, but when recording into the DAW, there’s a cut-off above 10kHz and some noise.
