Manji Sky

Suzuki tillverkar munspel med mycket hög kvalitetskänsla. De är något av favoriter för mig bland alla fabrikat på marknaden.
Har 15 st Suzuki munspel, diatoniska och tremolospel. Inget har gjort mig besviken.
Föredrar dock de med träresinkam såsom Olive och Manji. De har ett något varmare och mjukare ljud än de med aluminiumkam. Inget problem med fukt och kondens,vilket det kan bli med alukammarna om de inte förvärms.
Manji Sky har ett något renare,lättare och luftigare ljud än de övriga utan överdrivet mycket bas. Bra för country, folkmusik och visor.
För blues finns det andra bättre alternativ.

Easy to play, a touch too light on sound

I am a beginner, and therefore probably not the first target group for this kind of harmonica, but I thought I would try a range of different harmonicas to see which one would "klick".

Aside from another way-over-my-budget-harmonica from France which I got, this Suzuki is certainly above the usual budget for beginner harmonicas. Still - it does feel right, it's easy to play and I get sound that actually feels like music, and it does not require heavy work on the blows or draws. I still need to try bends (so far, I'm stuck at regular scales and easy improvising), but it already feels kinda "natural" to play on this harp.

I have to say that, perhaps, the sound is a bit too light for my liking, but then again is the "A" better sounding to my ears than a regular "C" harp, as it's deeper in general.

When it comes to the feel of the harp, then I can say that it feels high-quality, looks it, too, and I think I can trust on it for being with me for some time.

What might need some training is the fact that it easily responds to air - you don't have to play hard to get your tone, you actually have to be careful not to blow / draw too hard on it as not to destroy it.

All in all, I like this one, and may try next the Hammond to compare it with the Sky.
